  In order to promote mutual learning and communication among teachers and to improve the overall quality and teaching level of the teaching team continuously .Our school held the final teaching competition of 2022-2023 in the Performance Hall of Chongzuo Campus on February 10th.Professor Huang Yanfang from the Guangxi Undergraduate Vocational Education Research Centre, Professor Huang Yong from the School of Construction Engineering, Professor Liang Guiqing from the School of Marxism, Professor Su Li from the School of Information Engineering and Professor Bin Mingzhen from the School of Business were the judges of the final, and all teachers were present to observe the competition. The competition was conducted online and offline , and the online venue was set up in the University of Gloria, Thailand.

  The competition was divided into four disciplines:Public Courses, Science and Technology, Art Education and Literature and History.A total of 16 teachers entered the final round. Each participating teacher was required to give 20 minutes of teaching and a 3-5 minutes of teaching reflection. Each teacher was required to give a 20-minute classroom teaching session and a 3-5 minute teaching reflection. The judges gave objective and fair grades to the participating teachers from aspects of teaching design, classroom teaching and teaching reflection .

  The participating teachers were fluent in language and well organised, showing a solid foundation of academic skills Public class teacher Zhou Xiaoting's Martial Arts Routines course is full of enthusiasm, she insists on the teaching method of combining learning and practicing, letting her students can directly experience the culture of martial arts and receive martial arts education, combining the stories of martial arts characters to achieve transformation from body to mind .The course Strategic Management of Enterprises by Liang Guo'an, a teacher of literature and history, was fully connected with the reality of enterprises to guide students to relate the teaching content from the workplace of enterprises.His teaching design is reasonable, showing the characteristics of vocational education

  The 16 participating teachers had decent teaching style, good teaching quality, rigorous teaching ideas.Their teaching content was rich , and they used the online and offline hybrid teaching methods,which had strong classroom infection, showing good style of teachers , won the applause of the teachers observing the scene.

  After the competition, Professor Huang Yanfang made a comment. She said that the participating teachers had reasonable teaching design, good classroom teaching effect and strong classroom teaching influence.They can adopt the combination of online and offline teaching,teach students according to their aptitude and characteristics of the course and teaching objectives, and pay attention to the integration of ideological and political education in the course to achieve the purpose of double-effect education. She hoped that the majority of teachers would continue to strengthen the excavation of course highlights and the characteristics of vocational education in future teaching. Moreover, she also said that teachers should pay more attention to students' learning output and evaluation, and reflect on teaching effects after class.

  Headmaster Mr. Li Zhonghua summed up this competition , he said that if you want to do something well, you must first sharpen your tools.At the same time, he said that our school has always attached importance to the training of teachers, and only by mastering the basic skills of teachers can we really exert the wisdom of education. . He hoped that all teachers would continue to strengthen their own skills, widely involved in various aspects of knowledge, and constantly improve their own quality, love their job, teach and educate people, actively participate in the construction of the school, and make contributions to the brilliant school. Finally, the school leaders awarded the winning teachers with certificates of honour.

  After the competition, Mr.Xu Kaihua, the teacher who won the first prize in the science and technology category, said deeply that he had deepened his understanding of the course of Advanced Mathematics through this teaching competition. Meanwhile, he said from designing lesson plans to classroom teaching, the preparation process has prompted me to explore more teaching skills and teaching ideas, and to grasp more practical connections between mathematics subjects and students' real life. At the same time,he said that he was able to listen to other contestants' lectures was also a good learning opportunity. And in his future teaching career, he will try to expand his thinking, learn new teaching ideas and teaching methods, and teach his books and lessons well."

  Ms. Gu Xuefei, a teacher in the School of Art Design and Culture Media, said this teaching competition was very wonderful and I benefited a lot from the observation process. The most beneficial aspect was the reflection on the learning output of the teacher's classroom.In terms of course interaction, teachers and students interaction should be more than simply asking and answering questions, but teachers should be more diverse in considering the effectiveness of classroom teaching. This year's teaching was more focused on the content rather than the format than the competition, and the teaching methods were diverse and professional, which is something I should focus on learning in the future.

  Education is the key to a hundred-year plan, and teachers are the key to a hundred-year plan.This teaching competition further mobilize teachers' teaching enthusiasm, enhances teachers' sense of responsibility and mission for the work of vocational undergraduate, plays the role of demonstration, leading and discussion of open lessons, promotes the development of teachers' modern quality greatly, and strengthens the construction of the teachers.
