From December 1st to 3rd, the 14th “Hibiscus Flower” Dance Exhibition (Guangxi region)washosted by the Nanning union of Literary and Art and organized by the Nanning Dancers Association. Thisdance exhibition was successfully held in Nanning and the list of winners was announced. The students from the collegeof Education of our school won the Golden Hibiscus Award in the group dance competition.

　　In this competition, thestudent’steam from Class 11 of the 2023 preschool educationwas guided by Liu Juan,who came from the Education College.The participate program of them was “Jusong”, whichis based on the lyrical poem “Juling” inQu Yuan’s “Chuci”.This dancedescribedthe beautiful image of the orange tree,and praisedthe noble and pure character of the poet. It aims to achieve a goal of “inherit myself, achieve self-achievement, and realize self-worth” while advocating for the motherland and the people.

　　In this competition, the students from the college of Education are full of vitality, dancig gracefully with beautiful melodies. The dance movements are smooth and elegant, full of power and rhythm, demonstrating superb skills, and also showcasing the tough and positive spirit of our students.

　　It is reported that the competition consists of four groups, which included preschool students, children, teenagers, and adults, with a total of four performance projects that are single dance, double dance, triple dance, and group dance. The competition aims to further enhance the artistic literacy of grassroots people, the quality education of young people and children. It was also buildingan authoritative and professional platform to showcase people’s talent, explore and cultivate grassroots performing arts talents. This platform also continuously promotesthe creation and prosperity of dance art in our region.

　　This award fully demonstrates the solid dance skills, outstanding professional skills, and strong teamwork spirit of the students in the college of Education. It is also reflectingthe effectiveness of vocational education and practical reform in the college of Education, which plays a good role in promoting the exploration and practice of the goal called “integration of course and certification”in the college of Education.
